Unless you require financing, at that price range I would not buy through a dealer. That is private party, Facebook, Craigslist, Autotrader territory. You are going to pay a markup to go through a dealer that won’t net you much safety.

Also the market is cooling down pretty quickly right now, so if you can wait it wouldn’t hurt.
