Any recommendations for a hair salon/hair cut?

I’m looking for recommendations for your preferred hair salon. I’m a guy and have long hair looking to get it cut shorter to more medium length and would prefer someone who’s used to working with long hair to work with it.

I’ve usually gone to Toni and Guy in Cranston and have liked it but don’t have a lot of experience with salons or looking around for one so I’m wondering if there’s a better one I could try.

Dixie's Hair Design on Mineral Spring in North Providence is where I go. She's the only one I've let touch my hair in 15 years. Amazing work and very friendly atmosphere

I look around at friends’ hair cuts - if I know someone with a similar cut/style to what I’m looking for, I ask where they go.

You could look into Details Barbershop in Cranston. When I've been there I've seen people with just about every imaginable hairstyle. There is probably a barber who can do what you want.
