I’ve never understood the chest beating people do to brag about not turning their heat on.

Maybe it’s from a position of privilege but I turn the heat on when I get cold and I shut it off when I’m warm.

I never think about it outside of that context lmfao

Haven't noticed it yet. I was bracing myself for it last month but the bill was in line with past months.

It is not about the money for me. It is about the environment and leaving the smallest carbon foot print possible...saving money is a nice side effect.
