More details on this? Isn't it recommended to have a liner? Honestly just curious, the last time I had my chimney swept they were pushing that I have a liner installed.

I assumed the same. You’re saying a liner is unnecessary? Or are they pushing a ‘premium’ or ‘branded’ liner and you’re suggesting there’s no additional value?
