On Saturday they were directing traffic through the whole back end of the park before even getting to the zoo entrance, and the traffic was nuts it took close to forty minutes from the elm wood entrance to the zoo entrance- sooo I hope you have a cool Uber driver you wanna hang with for awhile

Walk outside of the park and call it from the neighborhood. Driving into the park in these events is usually slower than walking.

What's that walk like? It's been a while since I've done it.

The park entrance isn't super far. Maybe like an 8 minute walk. Admittedly, I've only done it during Halloween or summer but it's super easy and I just parked on the residential street outside the main entrance.

I'm not sure what the traffic is like for this event, but if its anything like the Halloween one you shouldn't call the uber from the entrance.

If you can't get into the park, and don't mind a short walk you could just take the Uber to the Broad st entrance. Or use one of the neighborhood streets like miller st

That's a damn good question, and to piggy back, can you order food delivered to a public park?

I have taken an Uber to brew at the zoo several times. Usually it's easy enough to get dropped off at the front, but getting out of there it's better to meet them at the entrance.
