Looking for some tips/advice to go ice fishing in Rhode Island this winter. I’ve been an avid bass fisherman for a decade but never made it out on the ice. Any advice on equipment, good lakes to check out and pro tips are greatly appreciated Thanks

Not an expert, but as a CT resident who’s always commuting to RI, I can attest that lots of people ice fish on Beach Pond. Happy holidays!

The CT houses that poop into Beach Pond are the reason the beach is closed.

Wardon pond near URI. Freezes early, shallow and some nice pike and bass.
