I saw a plate friday that said YUMAD, genuinely after the driver had cut me off and then slowed down. I was like "yep, that right there, that is a reason i am mad now"

I like the fact there's a dash between IM and MAD.

IM MAD or IMMA D. Such a versatile plate.

One of the best RI plates I ever saw was on a Corvette over 30 years ago. The Vette was driven by a young person, it read as follows: IODAD1. (I owe dad one)

You're right. I recently bought a z28 with the color scheme from fast times at Ridgemont high and wanted spicoli as the plate. Can't believe they got rid of vanity plates

Years ago I was driving with my wife and we saw one like this that I read out loud:

"BIG AL"

And my wife looked at it and said:

"BI GAL"

Never did get a look at the driver, but it was more of a BIG AL kind of vehicle, tbh.

So yeah, the "dash" can be important.
