I remember an old dear friend of mine describing Rhode Island chowder to me. I was intrigued.

Found in an Orange County, CA Whole Foods as well. Actually at the soup bar!

RI chowda doesn't just come in a can. There are a lot of people-Asian, Portuguese, Korean, etc-who use different ingredients than what you might find on RI store shelves.
