Anyone have an amazing gynecologist they’d be able to recommend? Distance isn’t a problem, I’m willing to drive almost anywhere in the state. Definitely would prefer a female provider.

Very uncomfortable and anxious in medical settings so someone who’s reassuring and sensitive to that is kinda necessary. Also, if they’re known for being LGBT+ friendly that’s a plus. Decidedly do not need the OB side of things.

My advice is to avoid Thundermist health center for your OBGYN needs. My wife revoked consent and they basically SA'd her.

Center for obgyn in Providence right near the mall is great! The front desk people are meh but every doctor I've interacted with has been excellent.

My doctor, Dr. Kreczko, is the kindest soul who sincerely cares about her patients. She personally called me at 9pm on a week night the night I miscarried my first pregnancy to talk me through it. Seriously, this woman cares.

Can confirm, Dr K wasn’t on call when my wife went into labor and she showed up to check in on us right after our son was delivered. I can’t recommend her enough

If you're open to seeing a midwife I am very happy with the care I've received (prenatal and just routine stuff) at Lifespan OBGYN midwives' group. I think there's maybe 7 of them and they are all wonderful

Edit: All of them are absolutely LGBTQ+ friendly but I would specifically recommend Nicole Heig

Open Door Health is gay and awesome. Strong emphasis on consent which has always made me feel like I’m in control of my care, and body, at all times. I even feel comfortable enough to disclose that I’m a SWer. Highly recommend them for a safe and queer-friendly medical experience.

Women and Infants in Providence is amazing. The gyno care I've received here has been gentle and non-judgemental.

Dr. Janine Connolly is amazing. I've been seeing her since my pregnancy. She delivered my son and I continue to see her on a regular basis for check-ups. She is warm and she listens to my concerns. I can't recommend her enough.

They just opened up a Providence Community Health Center in the Olneyville neighborhood in May. They are the first OBGYN provider in that neighborhood. The facilities are new, they have equipment to support multiple languages, and they have social workers to help with other issues that arise like depression.

I’m a man, so I can’t speak to their quality, but when I toured their facility, they seemed like a fantastic group of doctors and nurses who genuinely care about helping others.

Tollgate OBGYN for sure! In Warwick— I’d never go to anyone else. I’ve seen both doctors!
