Cranston trash issues...

Anyone else have issues with them forgetting to pick your trash up. At least 2x a month they either forget the trash or recycling. I have to call Joe on Friday or Monday and tell him. Then they don't come out for days. Anyone got suggestions? I'm the only one in the neighborhood this happens too.

No that doesn't happen to me often. The bigger issue I encounter is people overflowing their trash and feeding the rats. City refuses to do anything about it. Should be handing out citations weekly over here near twin oaks.

If there's any kind of holiday, they push it from Friday to Saturday collection typically.

You may be encountering that?

No. Mine was pushed from Thursday to Friday. This happens twice a month for me. I'm just fed up with that happening.

I live in Knightsville and I have this problem! We bring our trash out to the curbs on time, there’s nothing blocking them (cars etc) and sometimes they just don’t get taken. They will take the trash but not the recycling, or vice versa. It sucks, we have a lot of people living in our house. The trash is smelly if it sits too long and recycling completely takes over our house when they don’t take it.

Same here! Are there many houses on your street? I just can't figure out what the issue is.

I don’t think there’s anything remarkable about my street or my house, I think whatever driver I have is just possibly careless. My bins aren’t overflowing or anything, they just skip us somehow. I recently got Ring security cameras so maybe I’ll keep an eye on it with those.

When I lived in cranston i had this issue. I was over by the Cranston parkade. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason for it. Waste management always insinuated it was somehow my fault, much like everyone else here said they were out on time not over flowing nothing blocking them ect. I stood outside once and waved at the driver and asked him if everything was ok with my cans ect and told him what was wrong he comfimed all was good and never had an issue again.

I feel like this is what I'm going to have to do. I've even moved them from 1 side of the driveway to the other. I feel like they just forget, but I'm not sure why.

I've lived near intersection of Park & Warwick Ave for about 4 years, only once have they forgotten to pick up the trash but they got it next day. And no, it wasn't a holiday or something where they should have been delayed, but it was resolved quickly.
