My dog recently died and I'd like to get a small tattoo of his paw print with some flowers (including color). Are there any artists that this group would recommend? Preferably Warwick area but will travel state-wide.

I ask because I know many artists are selective about their work. My last tattoo was fairly simple and I felt like my artist was working well below their caliber and was bored (even though they accepted the work). I'd like to avoid a repeat of that experience. Not saying I'm looking for a mediocre artist, just that I'm looking for an artist that accepts and/or enjoys more simplistic work that will not involve a lot of free-hand.

Thank you!

I can’t speak to what type of work the artists there enjoy, but I have had great experiences at Unicorn Ink in Lincoln. Fun vibes, funky yet welcoming shop and great people. Nick has done three of mine.

I second Unicorn Ink! My friend got hers done there and it looks amazing.

Peter Toatley at Anchor Steam Tattoo in Newport has done the majority of mine (both simple and complex designs) and he’s the best! Highly recommend

Kim at Ruthless ink in Johnston has done all of my memorial pieces, she does amazing work.

I recommend Kelsey @ Phantom Hand in Pawtucket.

Also had work done by Greg @ Unicorn Ink and would recommend as well.
