And now we have ignorant people getting upset if more than one person sings the same song. For instance, apparently Angela Lansbury's rendition of Beauty and the Beast is the only one allowed to exist and it's wrong for Shania Twain to sing it in a TV special. Are these people aware of musical theatre and that numerous actors have played the same characters and sung the same songs? A black actress plays both Mrs Potts and Elsa in the Highschool Musical TV series and sings their iconic songs, to the chagrin of ignorant observers on Facebook who don't even watch the show
