Those kangaroos should be able to swim the few thousand miles to get elsewhere. Koalas can hitch a ride in the kangaroos’ pouches.

It is almost like animals adapted to the specific circumstances around them over time. Circumstances that may not have been present in other places.

Uh, it's not weird at all. Different parts of the world are... different, so things adapt to those differences. Somethings more than others.

I have never had this shower thought due to my parents taking me to Thailand every summer since I was a child. Understanding geographic distances, terrain barriers, along with seeing cultural differences in behavior, language, and manners from a very young age, I intuitively saw why this was the case.
