Since when is having a grandchild before turning 40 a success?

Never heard anyone thinking that's success. But I've seen people being horrified of someone being a grandparent very young, like in their early 30s.

I have never once heard anyone make such a claim. The only accounting of age I've ever seen for someone who was under 40 with grandkids was "oh my, you must have had kids so young and so did your kids". It's seen the exact same way as having children before 20. Or worse.

What would be your reasoning for thinking grandchildren by 40 is a success? I personally don't believe anyone thinks that but I'm trying to keep an open mind.
