Your teeth SHOULD BE the only part of your body where bone is protruding from you

Teeth are not really the same thing as bone, pretty different structure than say a femur.

It's splitting hairs a bit, but they really are quite different.

You need to get that looked at. Teeth are not bones so if you have bone protruding there it's your jaw and that sounds painful as hell to be honest.

Not true, my femur is currently about 5 inches out of my leg.

Sure, just wanted to keep it simple and not dive too deep into anatomy, most people know what a femur is.

But to your point, a tooth remains equally different to a sesamoid and a ossicle, as it does to a femur, in terms of molecular comp and embryological origin. The size and macrostructure doesn't really make a difference for comparison sake here, so a bit pedantic.

I don't have claustrophobia. Like at all. But exactly once in my life, I got in this weird state of mind where I got claustrophobic about my skin. Like oh my god I can't get out of it anywhere to really feel some cool air. Even sticking my tongue out of my mouth - that's still just a type of skin. Anyway after a while I remembered my teeth aren't covered in skin and started baring my teeth and breathing to get cool air on them and felt better.

I am fully aware of how absolutely psychotic this sounds and yes I'm usually normal. Also teeth are dentin.

Sure, mostly the composition components (hydroxyapatite) being present in various quantities is what I was referring to. I don't think it's fair to say there's NO similarities, just far less than most people are aware of.

Also, nice pun leading up to your fact there!

I believe this is sort of the reason why, in Imperial Japanese, women oftentimes covered up their mouths with their hands when they laughed or would dye their teeth black with charcoal. Exposed teeth were seen as a strangely intimate look within your body, and/or sort of animal-like

I have seen skeletons... Cranium skeletons in universities... In that way they are really look alike. I can see how people would mess it up, speacially because skeletons are usually named the collection of our bones, but there are always teeth (and some cartilage on the rib area)
