You mean like you can look into a high-powered laser, but only twice?

You can look into one?

You can into laser, but you can't the cat.
Evipicc t1_je9cjc6 wrote
Can you don't?
Okayish_Elderberry t1_je9cmul wrote
I think the ability to don't would be a good start, yes.

Only if it's a wimpy high power laser. You try to look into a megawatt laser and you won't really be "looking"
Edit: I missed a rather important word

If you touch hard enough, every screen will be a react-screen following this logic.

I guess it depends on the reaction.

Anybody that touches my TV screen will get throat punched.
Hate finger prints with a passion on non touch screens.

But where can I wipe my Dorito fingers?!
Ok_Dog_4059 t1_jea9icq wrote
This is why I hate touch screens. We spent years slapping hands away from our screens just to have someone come alone and make it mandatory.
Enchelion t1_jebwni4 wrote
So touching your screens causes a reaction?
HungryMurry t1_je9n5nc wrote
This is basically what my girlfriend try’s to convince me to believe when I complain about her touching my computer screen.

I felt this one deep in my bones. Every TV screen in the house bears my offspring's handprints.

I only feel natural watching tv while lying down, or at least sitting at a 45° angle, because as a kid our TV is hanged high between the wall and the ceiling and we would lie down on the couch to watch it.
Now I know why we have the TV in such an awkward position. I think my parents are geniuses

If a woman over 50 comes over to your desk to talk about an online document, she is going to touch your screen.
quick_dudley t1_jec0yw8 wrote
Not every screen has a low enough operating temperature to be safely touched by people.
