I can assure you that they do. Not as much as most people but they still get caught up in traffic jams and the like.

Haha. So untrue. As an operator of both an Engine and ambulance, I have to deal with maneuvering around other drivers who suddenly decide to make erratic, batshit crazy life choices.

I know emts end up more worried about other drivers not realizing there’s an ambulance or someone missing it and driving as usual at an intersection, like there’s a shift in how much people care throughout the day where I’m from. I’ve seen countless people not even stop when they drive in the lane next to them
