the wild version of the house cat is about the same size as your domesticated house cat. That would be like saying sharks are bigger than whale cause you are comparing great whites to bottle nose dolphins but then generalizing that comparison with all whales and all sharks.

Well there is a small very cute wild cat that lives normally on some deserts (i can't say where exactly because i saw it at a zoo and i can't tell it's name because I'm polish and direct translation "desert cat" doesn't sound like name for specific)

There are many small wild cats. Just because they aren't as popular as the big cats in zoos does not mean they don't exist.
