The other passengers might be a bit spirited, and they might bring their own spirits, but the only spiriting away on Spirit should be to your destination (assuming your flight isn't cancelled or mega-delayed...)

Large low-cost carriers in the US and Europe tend to have pretty good safety records. Spirit (est. 1993) has never had a fatal accident, nor have JetBlue (1998), Frontier (1994), Allegiant (1997), EasyJet (1996), or Ryanair (1984).

It's bipolar - either the safest or the most dangerous. ValuJet was also founded as a low-cost carrier in the 90s, and they were the definition of unsafe.
