That's exactly the whole point of Jaws. Make us realise that, in the end of the day, WE are the assholes. We are the predator, our arrogance just sometimes makes us bite on more that we can chew. Same moral in Alien.

Fun fact: yearly there is only 5-15 yearly reports of shark biting people in whole world while people in new you're only do 1500-1600bites yearly
