10,000 was a randomly made-up, meaningless number. It just became a legend all of its own.
People with ADHD will blow 10,000 hours out of the water - in terms of how relatively little time it'll take them to master something new & even complex.

As someone with ADHD, depends on the topic. It could come super fast or just be impossible. I’d say it all averages out
