tipping the service is done after you have received something of value.
when you donate to a charity, you get nothing in return. You personally do not receive anything of value.
You don’t get anything in value after tipping either. You already paid for the service. The tip isn’t mandatory to receive the good,or service.
you received something of value, the service.
Or do you just walk into a restaurant, drop a 20, and walk out? lol.
A burger costs $5.00.You pay $5.00 for the burger. The employee gives you the burger. You didn’t need to tip to receive the burger.
correct, the employee prepared a burger for you, and delivered to you, and you tipped them. You enjoyed your service very much, and enjoyed the burger as well.
The tip still wasn’t mandatory for the employee to make the food, and then give it to you. It’s an afterthought.
Do you not eat in actual restaurants where a server takes your order, a kitchen of employees prepares your meal, you’re served, etc.?
And then you pay for the meal.Tipping still isn’t mandatory in this situation. This is tiresome.
It’s not mandatory if you’re unethical. Sure.
That’s just it.I wasn’t putting ethics into the situation.Tipping is a good thing.
