Men are known for status.

In a developing country, women seek men from developed nations to provide security and stability.

Looking like a Greek God seems to be a thing. As are Spanish lovers. Scandinavian men tend to be portrayed well.

Besides the earlier mentioned Greek and Spanish men, I always got the idea that women find Italian men to be really attractive, too.

Men are typically more attractive from their status/characteristics than physical attributes (to a limit), usually the opposite for women. Men can be rich, powerful, not extremely ugly, and confident in any country in the world but physical characteristics are limited by where you go.

Scandinavian men, Dutch men, and Italian men are often seen as beautiful.

Also, there are a lot of hot guys in Taiwan, Vietnam, and Thailand, but it's less universal.

Maybe because women are beautiful and men aren’t, by and large

Isn't it just racism? I think beauty and ugliness are subjective.

The Highlands of Honduras have the best looking men I’ve ever seen. Super hot Honduran Cowboys. Lithuanian men are also incredibly hot and the most respectful men around which is also hot as fuck.
