I just spent an hour cleaning my sick child and her bed after explosive vomit. I think I can handle looking at a kidney without getting sick.

Kidneys aren’t really that bad. In fact anything in a surgical setting is usually very tolerable. I think it’s cause it’s relatively clean, ordered, the person is knocked out, and you know everything is gonna be fine.
What’s nasty is gore from accidents. Now of the person is totally knocked out or dead I can handle a lot without too much issue. I still get grossed out, especially with extreme head trauma, but mostly fine. What gets me is when the person is fully conscious and reacting to what ever horrible thing has happened to them. Things like trying to gather their organs back into their body and limbs mangled well beyond hope of rehabilitation.
The thing that kills me more than anything else though is face degloving/removal and the person just has to deal with that fully aware. This usually happens cause of high speed accidents or dog attacks. its actually amazing how the entire face can be removed in one piece with no further damage to the rest of the head. They are just stuck screaming, bleeding like crazy, probably crying but it’s hard to tell. They will have their teeth fully exposed along with the eyes cause they can’t blink. They just have to wait patiently like that for the emergency personnel to arrive, put them on drugs, gather their face up, and hope the subsequent operations work out well for them.

Of all the organs required to live, the brain is the nastiest.
It looks like congealed mayochup

When we’re able to see it, that means it’s not in its proper place keeping someone alive.

You mean face degloving that happens on accident ? I mean, they instantly put the person on heavy pain killers right ?

I mean like in a car accident. Your face can hit the interior of the car in such a way that doesn’t damage your brain but allows your face to totally tear away from the flesh underneath it. These people can and do remain conscious while waiting for emergency personnel to show up. So unless they happen to already have morphine sitting around they must gotta sit there and deal with it until an ambulance shows up unfortunately.

That's really tragic. Some poeple would kill themselves in this situation if they could. I'm trying to see and experience many horrible things on my own pace in order to reduce the shock of it ever happening to me some day, however, my quest seems really impossible to complete, some things out there are really straight up devilish and should never be possible to feel by a human being. Yet a lot of them happened to a lot of poeple. It's indeed a shitty world we're doomed to live in.

DISCLAIMER: this is an extremely graphic website and you will see things you may regret seeing. It may cause depression and difficulty sleeping. If you aren’t sure you can handle it then don’t try. I consider myself relatively comfortable with these things and some it still sickens me to my core. If you are not an adult or you suffer from mental illness I don’t think you should see this. You have been warned.
