I've said it before and I'll say it again - talking with yourself is perfectly normal and just about everybody does it to some extent. It's only considered odd if you think you're talking to someone else when you aren't.
The former is perfectly acceptable by most people in society. Only the latter is seen as concerning.

I don't know, the kind of songs I make up while I'm distracted cooking or doing to dishes would definitely get me into a couple of lists if someone was to hear them.
