Enjoy them as long as you have them and hope they will stay healthy. Seeing your parents (even though you might not always agree with them) slowly decline in health is heartbreaking. My mum died 10 years ago and my dad 15 years ago. Still feels off.

Absolutely, my parents live 5 hours away. We go and spend a week with them 3-4 times a year.
Dad can be annoying sometimes, but I love the time we spend together whether it’s drinking a beer (I rarely drink) watching spaghetti westerns for the millionth time or getting lectured about something stupid.
