I mean, I guess it's cool if you enjoy spending absurd amounts of money on gas. But then you know what sometimes it's not cheap to be cool.🤷‍♂️

Exactly. But people sometimes forget about the gas part all they’re really thinking about is being able to travel with a bunch of people, or being able to haul a bunch of toys and stuff. And basically, big truck equals carrying more things. They forget how much gas that’s going to take and how much that’s going to cost.

Thank you for using the correct indefinite article "an" instead of "a."

People commonly mistake its use for strictly words which start with a vowel letter but not a vowel sound.

You’re welcome. “A SUV” just sounds weird, even in text. Maybe that’s just because I read it out loud when I see it, but either way, it just bugs the hell out of me. It’s like when you have a cast on your arm, or your leg, then it starts to itch, but you can’t do anything about it. It’s like that. It’s annoying. It drives me crazy.

Depends on the SUV. For example, the Ford Bronco. The old Bronco is very cool. The new Bronco is pretty cool. The Bronco 2 is alright. The Bronco Sport very much is not.

No matter which Bronco it is, people would probably still prefer it over a minivan. Minivans are such a “mom” thing. Ironically enough, moms now have SUV’s to take their kids to soccer practice.

The least-efficient minivan is the non-hybrid Chrysler Pacifica, which gets 19 MPG in the city. The Sienna (which only comes in hybrid trim) gets 36 city/highway You're running about 16% below the bottom end of the minivan MPG range, and well over 50% below the top end.

You drive an SUV because you have kids. I drive an SUV to kill the planet faster. We are not the same.
