Being born is not optional, and dying may not be mandatory one day
Now thats a showerthought!!!
Technically, the universe will have run out of energy in a few bagillion years, and the exponential expansion of the universe will stretch even protons to the point where existence itself is unfeasible.

so babies that die in the womb are committing suicide?
Is abortion a suicide?
no, unless the baby is telepathicly controlling their parents to abort theirself
Optional does not mean it's a choice. At least that's how I understand this showerthought
But if the child dies in the womb it was never born in the first place right?

Nah, being born is not a choice an individual can make for themself. It can be a choice others make...
That aside, everything in between is a choice.

Being born is not optional. Nobody chooses if they are born or not.
I see where you’re going with this in that you could have an abortion or die due to some other reason pre-birth, but the more you think about this, the less of a profound shower thought it is
