I think they mean you cant narrate two people talking at the same time in your head and being able to understand them both at the same time.

You can start to narrate and you can imagine the noise of them both, but you cant follow both conversations at exactly the same time in your own head. You have to imagine one, then the other.

Your brain cant dual process both conversations at once when you are the one creating the conversations.
