While arrays start at zero and I dare anybody to challenge that, if I told you to count to one and you said, "one" do you think that means that you counted zero numbers since you ended at your first number?
Stop making sense !
Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three.

So if we count to 1, we're really counting 0? That's not how numbers or math works.
This is a friendly reminder to read our rules.
Remember, /r/Showerthoughts is for showerthoughts, not "thoughts had in the shower!"

Take a longer shower next time and think about what you just said
You should try that out loud, and see how many numbers you say between 1 & 10.
Pull out your hands and start counting from 1
You'll reach 10 at your last finger
Do the same but start with 0 You'll find out that from 0-10 is eleven numbers not 10

Sorry bro but you're wrong.
When you start counting, you start at 1. Then you reach 10. You will have counted 10 numbers.
Stop thinking in the shower. It’s hurts my mind when you do that

Whoa, that's some deep philosophical stuff there! I think counting from zero is the way to go as it's more accurate and precise. It just feels more natural to me - but hey, that's just my opinion :)
