I'm 30 and when I went to an exhibition with my parents last year the cashier gave me a ticket for under 14 yo unasked. Still annoyed me

And it was so annoying when I was given kids menus when I was in my late teens. Now it’s paying some dividends. What’s my secret? Not having kids (no disrespect on people who have kids, cos it’s a hard important job, but I’m pretty sure not having them is a factor to be considered, honestly)

Not sure what store you are talking about, but where I work we are told to ask every single customer including those that are basically early 20s. Pretty much if they have a cart, ask. It's not a sign that they think you need help out. It's a service. That's how my store treats it anyways.

Im 34, people often think I’m 27-28. I got asked for ID at a bar a while ago, and more recently at a liquor store! Feels good haha
