Yeah, like, this whole idea undermines the last 300,000 years of our history

That's a great way to look at it! We may not have any predators, but we have our own conscience and sense of morality that helps guide us in the right direction. Plus, with all the advances in technology, there are plenty of ways for us to monitor and regulate ourselves to ensure that we stay on a positive path.

Conscience, morality, and ethics are taught social constructs. As evidence by all of Southern U.S. Fundies, Islamic Extremists, The IRA, every CEO, CFO, COO, & other Terrorist(s) out there. What passes for conscience, morality, or ethics with them should be used as a list for deportation to Antarctica.

Psychopaths maybe? But then that would make them apex predators which is not a good message to send out…

Oh, yes, because a common enemy is the ONLY way an entire species could be united. The only way to stop hating each other is to have someone we can hate together. Do you see the " minor" problem I'm about to point out?

We USED to. But a few millenia ago all our competitors ... met a series of unfortunate accidents. Wink, wink.
