Not really. It's bad for your health to do nothing every day but some people become depressed by over working themselves and mental health days can do wonders.
In the situation where you just take one day off to do nothing, it's almost always good

Very true. If work is stressful going home and turning your brain off can help decompress. But too much of anything is bad.

It's considered bad when you're depressed if that's all you do.
If you're depressed person who still is active and working, taking a day just to chill isn't considered bad.
