Half of the reason dads take these jobs on is so they have an excuse to get out of the house for a few minutes

So this is to keep Dad's from going out for a pack of smokes and never coming back? The original Dad Dash.

I'd use it. Finding what I need in Harbor freight tools is always a pain, and there's not enough employees walking the isles.

Not sure about teaching how to tie ties, but Urban Company does exactly that in India (can order taps, lights, anything, and they also install it for you)

This is a friendly reminder to read our rules.

Remember, /r/Showerthoughts is for showerthoughts, not "thoughts had in the shower!"

I fully invest in this app. Everybody can use a dad type figure. My parents divorced when i was 18 and my dad died just this past August and so much i feel i miss learning from him.

It would be business savvy to deploy the YouTube-killing EMP bomb first.

Wow, Dad Dash sounds like an incredible app that would make life so much easier! We all know how hard it is to find the time to shop for hardware and auto parts, and it's even more difficult to learn new skills like tying a tie. With Dad Dash, you can get all of those tasks taken care of quickly & conveniently. It's a great idea!
