Mass shooters are serial killers. The timeline is just really short. 🤷

Serial killer as a term requires cooling off periods between kills, so no, mass shooters are not serial killers.

Has it gone down, or has it been outdone by the number of shootings.

Couldn’t one take that statement as implying the school shootings are taking out future serial killers ?

Imagine a future police special task force sending child agents back in time to act as school shooters to take out future serial killers in their time line.

Or that serial killers have a much shorter attention span now & don’t have the patience to space out killing

It's just a lot harder to get away with multiple murders in a row - dna evidence, cameras everywhere, cell phones, precise location tracking, etc.

You may be correct. When i was studying serial killers in 1996 it was assumed 125-150 serial killers were operating in the USA. Current estimates put the number at 25-50.

The world keeps getting safer and safer.

What do you mean? Most serial killers aren't even identified let alone caught.

Nah. Most serial killers just became cops for the camouflage and protection.
