No need for a realtor for apartments. Go to apartments.com

Check out Village. It’s on Bedford st. Last month, they had a deal for a 1 bed/1 bath for like $1,998 inclusive rent.

DM me and I can share a few local realtors I used for my apartment hunt

Christ, this is a good post, but I can't believe a 1/1 for 2k a month is a deal now :/

Are they realtors or a management company? I was seeing their name on so many places a few quite cheap (by cheap I mean like 16-1700 lol) it gave me a weird vibe. You had good luck with them though??

They are realtors and they are legit! I live in one of their cheap apartments and I it’s the real deal. Patrick is the guy who runs Urban Connections and he is very nice indeed.

I used Patricia Rattray and recommend her because she's very intelligent and straight-forward. No realtor is going to focus on rentals because it's not their main source of income but I used her previously for that and was very helpful. She's very familiar with the city's inventory outside of the highly advertised/BLT properties. She also knows all the landlords and which ones have a bad reputation. She'll show you those spots too but will give you the disclaimer.

I used to work real estate in Stamford and would be happy to connect you with someone I know can get the job done. To match you with the right person, it helps to know a bit more about you and what you’re looking for in a place beyond bed and baths. Think building and local amenities, transportation, activities, nightlife, parking, etc.
