Hello guys, Please can you tell me how and where you get your drinking water from? I buy the sams club 40 pack 17oz bottles and I’m getting tired of recycling them. I want to get a 5-10 gallon water jug for myself and would appreciate your opinions.

I did this, I freequently (every 4-5 months) got sick (cold/fever). After getting on sams club water, I’m better. So wanted to get on the purified water track. I thank you for the comment and the link, but this would not suit me

There are some good water filter options out there for tap water. There’s a lot to consider before buying one, but this podcast episode is really fantastic for unpacking some of the big picture points and what your filtering options are: https://hubermanlab.com/how-to-optimize-your-water-quality-and-intake-for-health/ The beginning of it is like a chemistry class, but it gets to some great information. He also talks about water pH and other properties, if they matter, etc. to help understand the pH water that’s out there. Note that if you’re primarily drinking bottled water, there’s a good chance it’s on the more acidic side.

Op, from comments it sounds like you should get a drinking water test done on your tap water. I know there are some self kits available at Home Depot but I’m sure you could find them elsewhere. That being said there are plenty of ways to set up delivery for 5 gallon jugs direct to your door.

Used to get Poland Spring 5gallons delivered but the price got too high after multiple price increases. Use a Brita now and it’s fine… and much cheaper.

If you are on city water, it is very good and very safe. I have a well and use salt to soften it, so we have a dispenser and buy water jugs from Home Depot, Acme or Grade A ShopRite.
