I’m in America and have decent dental insurance. I recently got a root canal that cost me ~$1600 out of pocket. 😭

Haha, decent dental insurance in that the dentist and endodontist costs are “discounted” and then I have an additional $1000 to use for treatments varying from a filling to root canal.

I recently saw that someone did the calculation and it was cheaper for them to take a vacation in Spain for a week and get a root canal there. Of course, that didn’t include any follow up appointments.
