There is a sub for exactly this type of story. Good news that’s only happening because something was really fucked up in the first place. I can’t remember the name rn lol but I will try to find it.

Yeah I guess orphancrushingmachine is more about how people celebrate fixing systemic problems with short term or case-specific solutions instead of fixing the system itself, which isn’t quite this.

It still feels similar because while they are decriminalizing it, they aren’t really fixing the system of oppression because it’s still illegal.
