I would say it isn't orphancrushingmachine, as this is an example of the orphancrushingmachine being stopped

Yeah I guess orphancrushingmachine is more about how people celebrate fixing systemic problems with short term or case-specific solutions instead of fixing the system itself, which isn’t quite this.

It still feels similar because while they are decriminalizing it, they aren’t really fixing the system of oppression because it’s still illegal.
