Beyond all that, your argument relies on the premise that no one can offer criticism without some qualifier about literally everything else bad in the word also being bad, that’s absurd.

Not that I'm taking their side or anything but there's a lot of people out there who could do the same, and haven't sent tents or whatever.

Tons of people across the world have the means to significantly improve those people's lives and send incredible amounts of supplies etc. Not saying there's only one evil regime in the world...

There's no reason to indicate this is any kind of change. They already made these, already spent the money, and already used them for their intended purpose. It's good that they're being sent to go to use but it's literally just a free PR move for them.
