The Oregon Zoo has great facilities and they built an underground heating-cooling “slinky” system that keep the polar bears cool while transferring the heat to the elephant enclosure to keep them warm

Or any other animal, they got African wild dogs and it's really sad. Zoos are sad.

Polar bears: "damn, finally, now this is the life!" You can tell how happy they are.
It is kinda sad they live in such a warm place though, that part isn't very uplifting. They have a very low body temperature, the PNW is nothing like their environment.
