My nephew pays nothing for his insulin. Socialism at its finest.

Edit: odd downvotes. People must really hate children being given life saving medication for free.

Is what a bad thing? Socialism providing people with the necessities without bankrupting them. Or someone's son getting something for free?

That's exactly it. The haters only hate it when it's not them, receiving something for free.

It’s only uplifting if you’re from a shitty country that rips people off for lifesaving medication!

Just a gentle reminder that in spite of the new pricing, it is still 200% more than what insulin costs in other first world countries. SMH.

This is only for Seniors on Medicare. You ain't on Medicare you probably gonna be pay hundreds in the US. It's actually cheaper to buy it for a dog in the US than a human in some cases. Also Walmart will sell insulin without prescription for $25

Walmart insulin is very unpredictable and can be dangerous and, in some cases, fatal. It is a million times better than no insulin but not an effective way to manage long term.

In most European countries it's £10 a month. In the UK anyone can get an exemption certificate so it's completely free of any charge.
