There are plants that only survive natural disasters (fires, droughts etc) because of rodent nests. An abandoned burrow can preserve seeds for a long time.

Mice suck in cities and farms tho.

Nope. They’re all food for something larger and they are invasive no matter what species.

Yes but who said they didn’t cause a problem in their homeland? Mice all breed fast, eat just about anything, and can invade homes. I see no benefit of one mouse to another type.

They generally don't cause problems where they're from because they're kept in check by predators (for example, owls)
