I remember one Christmas as a child, on our way home in the Midwest, the roads got bad with snow and we slid into a ditch. We were fine, but there was no Towtrucks available. We happened to be right by a farm in the middle of nowhere. They were very sweet and took us inside and made us kids hot cocoa and put something on the TV for us to watch while the adults found a way to tow our car out with their truck and special equipment. It was easily below freezing and they saved our lives that night. I don’t know who they were, but I am so grateful and wish them the best.
