1 windmill or solar panel has infinitesimal (very small fraction) total energy compared to an oil well. The logistics/ supply chain has already been built up and developed. There’s a really strong economic incentive for oil and gas incumbents to want to preserve the status quo, even if it could be detrimental to humanity as a whole

You can compare based on caped investments. Actually renewables are getting really competitive in that metric but even then, energy intensity of fossil fuel sources is really high.

That is not an explanation for why you are comparing one solar panel to one oil well as if they are comparable units. That does not make sense.
