Looks like other than being salmon flavor, it was a good camera once! Would you recommend (if so, please share what kind we've had a bad run of luck with trail cams)?

I could be mistaken but these look like maybe yearlings. Mama bears let them sink or swim after raising them their first season. At least that’s what fish and wildlife told me when I reported an abandoned bear cub on an MTB trail I frequent.

Good thing you weren't near it Thankfully I'm yet to come across any cubs while trekking, but have seen places they've been.
