I was lucky enough to have had a good education and training to do what I love here in Washington. I’m also pretty lucky that I was able to afford a home before prices skyrocketed in an area that suddenly became a landlord/real estate investor’s paradise. I’m seeing a lot of misery in hard working folks who are being priced out of their dreams here and a lot of callousness from the folks who “got theirs.” I love it, but it’s breaking my heart. But that’s not just Washington, tbh. EDIT: The beauty of our state is beyond measure. Get out and experience it.
