Actually, there are two; the other is the Inchelium/Gifford ferry that also crosses the Columbia River.

I think the Colville Tribe does as the Inchelium landing is on tribal land. The other landing is near Gilbert which is on the Lake Roosevelt National Recreational Area. It may be a federal/tribal operation? The operators when we last took it were tribal members.

Aha! Thanks for the tip. I'm clearly not finished exploring up there. It might be funded by BIA. Very beautiful country up there (but then again, this whole state has a lot of amazing things to see!)
