Bring some kindling and paper and/or a small axe. A lot of times those bundles you get at campgrounds are spilt logs and don’t have enough kindling to start the 1/4 rounds in rain. I camp with a 20x30 tarp and rope so I can tie it at a slope to trees and make a “rain shade” over the table and/tent. The slope is key to let the water run off and not collect. I’ve been camping in pouring rain this way happily playing cards with my friends.
